A Beacon bank on a USV isolates a faulted module on the CAN bus in milliseconds, reconfigures the remaining modules to a valid topology, and reports the event to BeaconOS over the vehicle’s backhaul. The mission continues at reduced capacity instead of ending. At the dock, the depleted or faulted modules swap out in minutes and the vehicle is back on station.
